Perfect for beginners and experienced drivers! This event is limited to the first 50 vehicles.
Come on out and meet the women of the offroading community. All drivers must be female, anyone can be passenger.
We are offering a day of wheeling with 2 options:
1st Option is a Meet your Jeep 101
Big Dogs would like to take this opportunity to offer you a chance to register for Big Dogs Wheeling 101. This limited, small-group instructional wheeling experience is designed to introduce you to the sport and prepare you for a great experience.
The itinerary for the day includes:
Getting to know your rig
4H versus 4L
How to approach obstacles
Sway bar disconnect and articulation
Tire pressure
The trail
What to expect from your spotter
The guy behind you
Trail courtesy
The rule of 3 – don’t be ‘That guy”
Know your low points
Plan ahead
Rub marks on trees
High center
Recovery Dos and Don’ts
Recovery equipment
Tow straps versus chains
Winch line
Tow hooks
Communication
Kids
2nd Option is the more advanced
requirements:
If you have some seat time and have a capable vehicle we are going to get out on the trails much faster.
With practical instruction as needed.
Pretty much, a day full of wheeling!
Registration for the event is $100.oo per vehicle
The Cove registration for the day (Only the day) is $25 per person. (if you with to stay overnight or the weekend, please contact the Cove directly for rates).
